Upcoming Events:

Summer 2025 Swim Meet Schedule

Important Information:

All Timber Cove Residents and Lessees,

All sections of TC prohibit the parking of trailers, boat trailers,  etc. in front of the Building setback lines. A map of TC is posted on the back of the Bulletin Board with the set backs noted. I might add that the City of TLV has more restrictive and stringent requirements than does TC, with regard to the set backs and the parking of  the aforementioned. The city does not actively enforce this until it becomes blatant or receives a complaint from the respective HOA or Civic Association.

Another area of concern is the solid waste that is put at curbside for pickup. TLV’s contract with the solid waste contractor that picks up our waste requires that loose waste (not  otherwise contained in a receptacle) must be bundled and tied with  twine not exceeding 50lbs. and no longer than 5 feet. I see much of this material laying on the curb for weeks on end ,not being picked up. Most of this material could be put into a receptacle( trash can) and the contractor will remove it. TLV does not provide heavy waste pickup, like some other municipalities do. Please keep these things in mind as you put refuse at the curb.

We have a few properties that need attention with regard to mowing, high grass, weeds, toys, inoperable autos, and debris in driveways. I will be contacting the property owners if the conditions continue. I would like to thank all the property owners who do a fantastic job maintaining and beautifying their properties, while making Timber Cove the greatest neighborhood in SE Harris County. Also, a word of BIG THANKS  to all residents who pay their Maintenance Fees on time, so that we can accomplish capital projects and routine maintenance. Thanks to all of the volunteers that make Timber Cove a great place to live.

The TCRA pool is a wonderful amenity in our neighborhood and has been a place for gatherings since it opened. It is a private organization operated and maintained almost exclusively by its member volunteers. Annual funding for the pool comes from membership dues and donations only. The pool receives no financial subsidies from any other Timber Cove organization and no general payments or fees from the neighborhood.

Since November 2024, TLV uses the Everbridge Notification System as its emergency notification system, for emergencies, non-emergency advisories, and/or community events.  Create a profile with your mobile number and/or email by clicking the Profile icon (looks like a contact card) next to the search box near the top of the TLV website, or directly via https://member.everbridge.net/92944702898190/login.  The city recommends that each resident sign up for these emergency alerts.

Residents may also subscribe to receive email alerts when the city secretary updates the TLV website.  You may choose News & Announcements, and/or meeting agendas and meeting minutes for Board of Adjustment, Mayor & Council, and/or Planning & Zoning Commission.  Sign up via the “Subscribe to E-alerts” link on the TLV website, or directly at http://www.taylorlakevillage.us/subscribe
